Job summary

Hein+Fricke in Pune, India, seeks an experienced Java professional to design and build scalable enterprise applications. You will own end-to-end feature delivery, from solution design and diagrams to coding and deployment.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Understand business needs and design maintainable, scalable solutions using Java and related frameworks with MVC architecture.
• Own feature/module delivery end-to-end including solution design, technical diagrams, documentation, coding, integration, and deployment support.
• Build and maintain web applications running on Java web servers (e.g., Tomcat, GlassFish, Jetty, WebLogic, JBoss/WildFly).
• Create technical artifacts such as:
• Architecture diagrams (UML, deployment, sequence, class, ERD)
• Solution design documents and data flow diagrams
• API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Feature documentation & runbooks
• Apply design patterns and clean code principles to ensure high performance and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Architects, and Product Owners, taking feedback, contributing ideas, and shaping the technical roadmap.
• Participate in Sprint planning, estimation, Scrum ceremonies, and drive Agile delivery ownership.
• Build efficient database-driven application modules using SQL Server / relational databases, ensuring data integrity and optimized queries.
• Lead technical POCs and feasibility analysis for solution decisions when required.
• Troubleshoot performance, integration, and deployment issues in collaboration with infrastructure and platform teams.

Must have Technical Skills
