Job summary

Honchoshunters is seeking a Senior Member Technical (P2) with 5–6 years of experience to lead Java Spring Boot microservices projects and guide architecture decisions. You will build enterprise-grade REST APIs, develop frontend components with Angular or ReactJS, and contribute to AWS cloud-native initiatives.

The role involves mentoring juniors, shaping technical direction, and working in an Agile environment with CI/CD and automated testing. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in enterprise Java development

Hiring,

Java Spring Boot, Microservices React.JS and AWS cloud native.

Candidates with 5 to 6 years experience will typically be considered for Senior Member Technical (P2).More experienced candidates may also mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical direction, participate in architectural discussions and help drive engineering best practices across the team.

Strong commercial experience developing enterprise applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs and microservices.

Strong commercial experience developing enterprise-grade Front-End applications using Angular and/or ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3.

Experience building responsive, component-based web applications and integrating Front-End applications with RESTful APIs.

Experience designing and developing REST APIs, distributed applications or cloud-native applications.

Experience with Git-based source control, Maven, AWS and one or more major RDBMS, preferably PostgreSQL.

Experience working within CI/CD pipelines, automated testing practices and modern DevOps environments.

Experience writing automated tests across the application stack, including Front-End tests using Playwright, Cypress or similar frameworks, and Back-End/API tests using appropriate testing frameworks.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to show flexibility and reach compromise where appropriate.

Proven experience working with Agile SDLC methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

Willingness to take ownership for assigned aspects of the project(s) and proven ability to work constructively in a shared team environment; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline; Full Professional Proficiency in English.
