Job summary

Amantya Technologies in Gurugram seeks a Senior Fullstack Java Developer to build next-generation banknote-processing platform. You will contribute to backend services with Java Spring Boot and frontend with Angular, collaborating with teams in India and Germany.

You'll implement high-quality code, ensure test coverage, and participate in design discussions, CI/CD deployments, and containerization with Docker and Azure.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security.
• Professional experience with Angular (TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker, containerization, and cloud deployments (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for distributed systems.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in international teams (India & Germany).

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives)
• Collaborate with testers, support teams, and business analysts to ensure functional and technical quality
• Follow coding standards, contribute to code reviews, and ensure maintainability and reliability
• Support continuous improvement of development processes, automation, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments
• Contribute to proof-of-concepts for evaluating new technologies (e.g., Docker, cloud services, image processing and machine learning)

Summary

As Fullstack Java Developer, you will contribute to the development of our next-generation platform for configuring and adapting banknote-processing systems used worldwide. Together with the development team in India and the architecture team in Munich, you will implement high-quality backend and frontend components using Java Spring Boot, Angular, Docker, and Microsoft Azure.

In this role, you will work in a collaborative, cross-site Scrum team and help shape a modern, scalable, and secure application landscape. You will actively participate in design discussions, implement new features, ensure code quality through testing and reviews, and support the integration of backend, frontend, and database components.
