Job summary

JobCubby is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to work from our Powai, Mumbai office. You will design and implement features using Java 17, Spring Boot 3, and Angular, while ensuring code quality and robust APIs.

The role involves collaborating in an Agile team, participating in SDLC activities and mentoring junior developers. Responsibilities include designing software elements, maintaining production code, and driving CI/CD improvements.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.
• Experience with Angular for UI development.
• Strong SQL and relational DB knowledge (Postgres/Oracle).
• Experience designing microservices and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, test automation and Sonar.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application functionality per requirements and best practices (Clean Architecture, SOLID).
• Participate in software element design and code reviews.
• Maintain production version per SLA; diagnose and fix issues.
• Collaborate in Scrum/Agile team; participate in refinements, planning, daily stand-ups.
• Mentor juniors and contribute to process improvements (CI/CD, testing, monitoring).

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of application functionality in accordance with defined requirements and best market practices (e.g. Clean Architecture, SOLID)
• Participation in designing software elements
• Creation of required technical documentation
• Diagnosis and removal of reported problems
• Adherence to the principles of the development process (SDLC) established in the project
• Taking care of the quality of the delivered code (performing code review, improving Sonar indications, writing unit tests, testing delivered code)
• Maintaining the production version in accordance with the established SLA (diagnosis and correction of detected errors, participation in the EOL process, optimization of process operation/solution efficiency, uploading package changes)
• Participation in implementing version and package changes in the production environment
