Job summary

Deloitte US-India Offices is seeking a Full-Stack Senior Product Software Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional partners on design and implementation of innovative features for our ad platform. You will own critical components, mentor peers, and ensure systems are robust and observable.

You will design, build, and support scalable microservices and front-end interfaces using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and cloud-based tools.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, ORMs, etc.).
• Experience with ReactJS or modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue, Angular).
• Strong background in relational databases (MySQL, Postgres).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support scalable microservices and user interfaces for Disneys Ad Platform, leveraging Java and modern front-end frameworks.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering peers to deliver features that enhance user-centric advertising.
• Translate user stories into actionable engineering tasks with ownership from development through deployment.
• Mentor and support teammates through code reviews, documentation, and informal guidance (no direct reports).
• Improve system observability by implementing metrics, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations as part of our commitment to operational excellence.
• Champion best practices in code quality, automated testing, and agile workflows.
• Understanding and using automated tools (AI) while adhering to company policy.

About the Role:

As a Full-Stack Senior Product Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners and engineering teams on the design and implementation of innovative products and features, contributing to the evolution of user-centric advertising at scale. Youll exercise technical ownership, provide peer mentoring, and ensure our systems are robust, observable, and future-ready.

Required Qualifications / Must have:

• 4-6 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, ORMs, etc..).
• Experience with ReactJS or modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue, Angular), and willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
• Strong background in relational databases (MySQL, Postgres), including schema and query design.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures and algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in ad tech.
• Experience with programmatic advertising or real-time bidding platforms.
• Spring Boot and related Spring projects.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Modern DevOps tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Data Streaming Mechanisms such as Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, and/or SNS/SQS.

Preferred Qualifications / Good to Have:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
