Job summary

HSBC Software Development India is seeking an experienced Consultant Specialist to design and manage technical design, drive transformation and deliver scalable software using React, Core Java, Spring Boot and Microservices.

You will lead and guide pod teams, review deliverables, troubleshoot defects, and collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure performance, quality and timely product delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in building scalable software using React and Java in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, Java, microservices and DevOps practices.
• Ability to lead module/project end-to-end: estimation, planning and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage technical design, drive the transformation and innovation.
• Lead and guide POD to deliver business outcomes with future state architecture; review deliverables for quality.
• Follow quality processes and quality improvement initiatives; ensure sustainable solutions.
• Be part of strategic IT initiatives; design, develop, maintain and support the solution focusing on performance and full DevOps automation.
• Troubleshoot defects and develop sustainable fixes; collaborate with end-to-end teams from requirements to production rollout.
• Interact with a large global team to craft strategic solutions, ensuring quality, reusability, scalability and supportability.

In This Role, You Will:

• The candidate will be part of strategic initiative IT team which is responsible for design, develop, maintain and support the solution with a focus on performance improvement with the full automation of DevOps processes and procedures. Guide Pod leads to deliver business outcome with future state architecture


• Troubleshoot defects and come up with sustainable solutions. Work with end to end teams from requirements analysis to production rollout.


• Interact with a large global team to come up with strategic solutions. Build sustainable software with quality, reusability, scalability and supportability

• To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Require strong hands-on React, Core Java, JAVA8, Springboot, Microservices and JUNIT. Primary skillset is React AND Java


• Candidate with strong hands-on tools Jenkins, Git Hub, Splunk, Maven, SonarQube, Checkmarks and APPDynamics. Candidate with strong hands-on HTML5, CSS, Typescripts.


• Good analytical and problem solving skills. Skills in trouble shooting Applications deployed on any of the industry standard Front end – React Experience in working in DevOps and Agile model. Contribute towards building strong technical team.


• A pragmatic approach to delivering modular and extensible code. Experience in leading the module/project end to end (Estimation, Planning, Deliveries) Good knowledge on JIRA and Confluence.


• Exposure of Banking domain. Knowledge on Cloud / AWS / GCP Sound verbal and written communication to interact with global teams. Good Interpersonal skills Stakeholder management
