Job summary

G360 Technologies in Hyderabad seeks a Java Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services for our existing customer. You will work on transaction-heavy systems where accuracy, reliability, and data integrity are critical.

You will collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps in an Agile environment, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, implement secure coding practices with Spring Security and OAuth2/JWT, and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Core Java experience.
• Strong Spring Boot, MVC, Data, Security experience.
• Proficient in Hibernate/JPA with lazy loading and caching.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL including tuning and transactions.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.

About the Role

We are looking for a Java Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-performance, secure backend services for our existing customer. You will work on transaction-heavy systems where accuracy, reliability, and data integrity are critical.

Team: Product Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Build the data layer with Hibernate/JPA and PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, and transaction management.
• Develop microservices with proper error handling, idempotency, and resilience patterns for financial transactions.
• Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito) and participate in code reviews.
• Optimize application and database performance; troubleshoot production issues.
• Implement secure coding practices: authentication/authorization (Spring Security, OAuth2/JWT), encryption, and audit logging.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Core Java (collections, multithreading/concurrency, JVM fundamentals, Java 8+ features).
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security.
• Proficiency in Hibernate/JPA, including lazy loading, caching, and N+1 query handling.
• Solid PostgreSQL skills: complex SQL, stored procedures, query tuning, and transaction isolation.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
