Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience building microservices and REST APIs in Java.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Java applications with clean, reusable code.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs with validation and secure communication.
• Write modular code using OO principles and patterns like Singleton, Factory, MVC.
• Implement business logic and backend integrations with databases and external systems.
• Write optimized SQL for relational databases and manage transactions.
• Follow secure coding and quality standards to improve reliability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for testing, deployment, and delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support CI/CD processes.
• Continuously learn modern Java frameworks and cloud tech.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Java applications ensuring clean, reusable, and maintainable code aligned with engineering standards.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs with proper validation, exception handling, and secure communication practices.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code following object-oriented principles and design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, and MVC.
• Implement business logic and backend integrations to support seamless interaction between applications, databases, and external systems.
• Work with relational databases by writing optimized SQL queries and ensuring efficient data access and transaction handling.
• Follow secure coding, quality, and development standards to minimize defects and improve application reliability.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve functional and performance-related issues efficiently.
