Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru, India seeks an Engineer to perform individual contributor work delivering medium to high complexity software tasks across the Windows stack, following defined processes and quality standards.

You will analyze requirements, design, develop and deploy components, write reusable code, perform unit tests, and produce technical documentation while aligning with customer priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Core Java and OO design concepts.
• Expert Java programming experience.
• Semiconductor equipment experience is required.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with multi-threaded programming and IPC.
• Knowledge of design patterns, RMI/gRPC/Protobuf, and unit testing.

As an Engineer, the candidate will be furnishing an individual contribution role in technical execution of project tasks. The purpose of this role is to execute medium to high complex project tasks to generate deliverables on-time with the right quality using defined processes, tools and standards.

Work Experience

Required Skills:

• Must have expertise in Core Java (Collections, Iterations, Tree traversals)
• Must have solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design concepts
• Expert level programming experience in Java.
• Must have semiconductor equipment experience.
• Experienced in writing and optimizing Java based algorithms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Hands on experience in multi-threaded programming, IPC and debugging skills.
• Knowledge in design patterns.Knowledge of RMI Services, gRPC, Protobuf, unit testing framework and code analysis tools.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge in Spring Boot , Java 8 features.
• Should be ready to learn, unlearn and re-learn.
