Qualifications

Shift Timing:5:30PM - 2:30 AM (US shift)

Overview

We are seeking experienced Java application developer with Devops to join our team. The successful candidates will work on legacy systems upgrade for prominent client in finance domain.

Responsibilities

• Provide legacy system modernization and upgrade for our Java codebase and databases (Oracle/MSSQL).
• SQL Skills, writing queries, optimization of queries, indexing, purging etc…
• Hands on Shell scripting experience
• Address security-related requirements such as vulnerability checks, SSL, Log4j, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP.
• Assist in Disaster Recovery (DR) and load testing exercises.
• Review logs and triage any issues that arise from these tasks.
• Conduct analysis and resolve production issues
• Provide and address application support for external clients and internal users
• Create clear and concise documentation, including runbooks and support procedures
• Implement monitoring/alerting for existing and new applications based on identified needs

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience (4+ Years) instrong Java development & troubleshooting& knowledge ofDevOps
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (a plus)
• Knowledge about jdk version 8,11 and 17
• Knowledge of JMS/ kafka system and tomcat applications works.
• Basic Knowledge of JSP (frontend) and Grafana dashboards.
• Basic Knowledge of Python
• Good knowledge of RHEL.
• Familiarity with security protocols and standards.
• Ability to review and interpret logs to diagnose technical issues
• Experience with DR and load testing.
• Experience with AWS
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse root causes of issues.
