Job summary

BlitzenX is seeking an experienced Java Developer for P&C insurance applications. You will design, develop and maintain enterprise Java solutions, creating RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will work with analysts, QA, and product teams to translate business requirements into reliable software, ensuring performance and security while supporting deployments and production issues as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
  • Hands-on with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and SQL databases.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
  • Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) knowledge preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Mandatory P&C Insurance domain experience and understanding of insurance workflows.
  • Experience with insurance core systems like Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco is a plus.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing enterprise applications using Java technologies and a solid understanding of insurance business processes such as Policy Administration, Claims, Billing, Underwriting, or Rating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications for P&C Insurance.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Domain Experience

  • Strong understanding of Policy Administration, Claims, Billing, Underwriting, Rating, or Insurance workflows.
  • Experience with insurance core systems such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar platforms is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development is preferred.
