Job summary

PradeepIT is hiring a Senior Consultant (Java) to develop, test and maintain scalable Java applications serving millions of users globally. You will collaborate with product managers, stakeholders and developers to design robust software solutions meeting business needs.

The role requires 4+ years of Java experience, strong knowledge of core Java, Spring, REST/microservices, CI/CD and Linux. You will drive code quality, participate in reviews, and stay current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 4 years of professional experience in developing and maintaining Java applications
• Solid knowledge of core Java, Spring Framework, and other relevant frameworks and tools
• Experience in developing and integrating with RESTful APIs and micro services
• Understanding of agile methodologies, test-driven development and CI/CD
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of Linux
• Humble to embrace better ideas from others, eager to make things better, open to challenges and possibilities
• Desirable requirements: Cloud (AWS/Azure), DevOps tools (Jenkins/Ansible/Docker), SQL/database design, Kubernetes, Kafka/Artemis/RabbitMQ, FIX protocol
