Job summary

PradeepIT Consulting Services Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Consultant to contribute primarily to backend development for enterprise SaaS projects. You will work on scalable services, collaborate with product, QA, and other teams, and help translate requirements into robust implementations.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 2 years of experience in designing and building SaaS software, strong Java/J2EE skills, and a solid grasp of distributed computing and performance considerations.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
• 6 months to 2 years experience designing and developing Enterprise/SaaS software
• Expertise with JAVA/J2EE
• Strong understanding of distributed computing and code performance implications

Responsibilities

• Focus on backend development, with possible exposure to other stacks.
• Gather requirements, develop technical specs, plan projects and tests.
• Hands-on coding.
• Resolve defects during QA, pre-production, production, and patches.
• Collaborate across teams including product, QA, and external partners to drive results.
• Aim to build well-architected, real-time, high-volume SaaS systems.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate for this position will focus mainly on the backend but projects involved may require understanding and participation in other software stacks
• Gathering of functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
• Hands-on coding
• Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
• Work cross-functionally with various other teams, including product management, QA, teams from other product lines within ZineOne, and/or external business/design partners to drive forward results
• Demonstrate a passion for developing well-architected and elegant real-time and high-volume SaaS
