Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking an experienced Java Architect to lead backend development for distributed systems across multiple locations. You will design and implement RESTful APIs and scalable microservices using Java 8+ with Spring Boot, while ensuring performance and security.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on Java experience, strong knowledge of design patterns, and familiarity with PKI/OWASP. Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Java backend experience (J2EE, Spring Boot).
• Strong Spring Frameworks, JUnit and design patterns knowledge.
• REST API development and distributed microservices experience.
• Experience with Java 8+; Java 11+ preferred.
• Architecting large-scale Java applications (2+ years).
• Knowledge of Security (PKI) and OWASP guidelines.

Java Architect

• Lead Java Backend engineer with good hands-on experience (8+ years) in J2EE, Java, Spring Boot and Rest API development
• Java 8+ is must though Java 11+ is preferred.
• Strong experience in Spring Boot, Spring Frameworks and JUnit
• Excellent understanding of design patterns and microservice architecture
• Good hands-on experience in Java, multi-threading, Kafka, Shell Scripting, REST API, building distributed components
• Experience in development of Java server applications
• Experience with software build tools such as Maven, Nexus, Gradle
• Experience in coding, designing, and building RESTful APIs
• Experience with any RDMS or NoSQL databases
• 2+ years of experience in architecting and designing large scale Java applications
• Experience designing and coding high-performance, scalable, reusable, distributed enterprise Java applications
• Good understanding & hands on experience on of Security aspects, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and OWASP guidelines.
• Experience in Performance Analysis and applications tuning.
• Experience with Spring Web Flux will be an added advantage
• Proficient in test driven development and familiar with popular test frameworks
