Job summary

Citi is seeking an experienced senior software engineer to design, develop, and maintain fullstack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Node.js. You will build robust backend services, develop responsive frontend interfaces, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable features.

The role requires deep experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, ORM (Hibernate/JPA), and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant programming experience
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Angular and Node.js
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA
• Experience with database technologies (Oracle)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices

Requirements
