Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG in Chennai, Tamil Nadu seeks an experienced App Java Developer AVP to design, develop, and maintain fullstack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Node.js with RESTful APIs and scalable backend services.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, CI/CD with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes, and Agile/Scrum practices. Familiarity with Kafka/RabbitMQ, Hibernate/JPA, Oracle, and modern frontend techniques is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in programming.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Angular and Node.js.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).
• Experience with Oracle databases and version control (Git).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; excellent communication and teamwork.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium).
