Job summary

Comviva is seeking a skilled backend engineer with strong Java and Spring Boot experience to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, optimize performance, and integrate with databases and external systems.

The role emphasizes secure, reliable service communication, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and participation in Agile ceremonies. Prior exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Core Java and OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience in building, enhancing, and optimizing REST APIs.
• Experience with Spring MVC and Spring JDBC frameworks.
• Knowledge of database design and performance tuning for SQL/NoSQL databases (including MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build, enhance, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices based on business and technical requirements
