Job summary

Ourbus is seeking a Java Backend Developer with 2–3 years of experience to build scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. You will design and implement REST APIs, leverage Spring Data JPA and Hibernate, and optimize queries in MySQL or PostgreSQL while using Redis for caching and Elasticsearch for search and analytics.

Candidate should be proficient in multithreading, asynchronous processing, and unit testing with JUnit/Mockito.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of backend Java development experience.
• Experience building scalable backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficient in MySQL or PostgreSQL and query optimization.
• Familiar with Redis for caching and session storage.
• Experience with Elasticsearch indexing and search.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/JSON, and API design.
• Familiar with Gradle/Maven, Git, Postman, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of multithreading and async processing.
• Hands-on testing with JUnit/Mockito.

Responsibilities
