Job summary

Veersa Technologies is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based services.

You will build REST APIs for web and mobile apps, work with relational databases, optimize SQL, and participate in code reviews to drive quality and scalability. Ideal candidates have strong Java fundamentals, Spring Boot experience, SQL skills, and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Solid grasp of Java fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework for building scalable applications.
• Competence in SQL and relational database design and management.
• Working knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Ability to produce code that is clean, easy to understand, and built for scale.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to troubleshoot issues systematically.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort working as part of a team.
