Job summary

Luxoft in Hyderabad, India is seeking an experienced Java full-stack backend professional to design, develop and maintain enterprise applications. You will work on backend microservices, REST APIs, and frontend tasks using Angular/React where needed.

The role requires strong Spring Boot and microservices experience, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud exposure (AWS/Azure). Collaboration in an Agile environment and production support are expected.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot and microservices.
• REST API development and integration experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD (Jenkins).
• Kafka for event-driven architectures; relational and NoSQL DBs.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.

• Develop frontend components using modern web tech when required.

To support enterprise application development and enhancement activities for a financial services project, covering backend microservices, frontend applications, API development, integration and cloud-native deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance scalable Microservices-based applications and REST APIs.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular and React.
• Work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend development.
• Develop and support Micro Frontends (MFE) architecture where applicable.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend MicroServices and REST APIs.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Work with Kafka for event-driven integration and asynchronous communication.
• Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS and Azure.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting and production support.
• Participate in Agile development, code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
