Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Integrate AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS into applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 3 years of experience as a Java platform developer in distributed systems.
• Proficient in Core Java, Data Structures, and J2EE.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and web services.
• Experience with MySQL, DynamoDB, or other NoSQL databases and Hibernate.
• Experience with caching frameworks (Memcached/Redis) and message queues.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, container architecture (Docker/Jenkins), and build tools (Maven/Ant).
• Experience building high‑performance, highly available REST APIs and clients.
• Knowledge of Kafka, analytics pipelines, and analytics databases is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
