Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru is seeking a senior Java backend developer to design, build, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications. You will leverage Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and REST APIs while delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS. The role also involves Python-based AI integrations, code reviews, and mentoring.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality and performance, including guidance on testing, architecture, and security considerations across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java Backend Development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Hibernate/JPA, and Redis.
• Proficiency in Python for backend development and AI integrations.
• Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, REST Assured, and Cucumber.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Embeddings, and RAG.
• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Anthropic.
