Job summary

Capco, a Wipro company, is hiring a Java Backend Developer in Vadodara. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17 and Spring Framework, building robust RESTful APIs and microservices.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and frontend teams to deliver high‑quality solutions, implement event‑driven architectures with Apache Kafka, and optimize Oracle 19c databases for performance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 17 and modern Java development practices.
• Expertise in Spring Boot 3.x, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Microservices Architecture.
• Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle 19c, including query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven and asynchronous processing.

Responsibilities
