Confidential in Chennai is seeking a Java Backend Developer to join a software development team. You will contribute to designing and implementing backend services using Java/JEE, Spring, Hibernate, and REST APIs, ensuring robust integration with RDBMS systems.

The role requires 2-3 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. You will mentor junior developers, focus on test-driven development, and occasionally travel to client locations globally while striving to meet project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field
• 2+ years of industry experience
• Proficient in Java and JEE stack (JDBC, JMX, JPA, JMS)
• Experience with Spring, JDBC, Hibernate, Core Java extensions
• Experience with REST APIs and app servers (Tomcat/WebLogic/JBoss)
• RDBMS experience (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL)
• Strong OO Java skills with Groovy development experience
• Ability to quickly understand and debug existing code
• Ability to interface with other software applications
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
