Position Description

A Java Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server‑side applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless integration with front‑end components

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server‑side web application logic using Java, ensuring responsiveness and efficiency of applications.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to integrate user‑facing elements with server‑side logic.
• Design, implement, and manage databases and data storage solutions, including creating schemas that support business processes.
• Develop and maintain APIs to enable communication between front‑end, back‑end, and external services.
• Identify and fix bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues in backend code.
• Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Keep up‑to‑date with emerging technologies, such as microservices, cloud‑native solutions, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

Must Have Skills

• Java programming language (Java 17+)
• Spring Boot framework
• Mastery of development best practices (TDD, SOLID principles, BDD, Clean Code, etc.)
• Automation of technical and quality tests
• Ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation
• Understanding of software architecture concepts, including UML
