Job summary

Capco in Vadodara is seeking a Java Backend Developer to build scalable backend services. You'll design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot, focusing on microservices and REST APIs.

You will own features from design through testing, deployment, and production support, collaborating with product, architecture, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams. The role is hybrid (2 days in office) with growth opportunities within Capco's global fintech and consulting environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Java backend experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build robust microservices and REST APIs for enterprise-grade applications.
• Take ownership of features from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.
• Build secure, resilient, maintainable, high-performing backend services.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, Mobile, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to coding standards, engineering best practices, and continuous improvement.
