Job summary

Antal International in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced Java backend engineer to design and develop high-performance, scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies in an agile team.

You will contribute to continuous delivery, write unit and integration tests, review code, and mentor others while collaborating with product, QA, TPMs, and cross-functional teams to ensure robust APIs and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security and other modern java stack technologies.
• Relational databases like Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL and any NoSQL database.
• Must have experience with REST and XML/JSON/Protobuf.
• Strong technical knowledge on streaming frameworks like Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Storm and caching solutions like Memcache/Redis etc.
• Industry API tooling such as Postman, Castlemock, Apigee, Swagger etc.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, version control and configuration systems like GITLAB, Jenkins, code quality tools like SonarQube, Fortify, Veracode etc.
• Application security standards like OWASP.
• Git (Gitlab / Github).
• Strong analytical skills, with high problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
