Job summary

The Capital Markets Company GmbH in Bengaluru seeks an experienced backend engineer to drive scalable Java solutions. You will own design and implementation of microservices, Spring Boot applications, and Kafka-based data pipelines, collaborating with global stakeholders.

You bring 7+ years of backend experience, proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and strong knowledge of Kubernetes. Banking domain exposure is a plus; please adapt to CI/CD practices with Jenkins/GitLab.

Qualifications

• 7+ years backend development with Java, Microservices, and Kafka.
• Experience with Java Spring Boot, TDD, BDD, and basic database knowledge.
• Must have experience with one of the cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and knowledge of Kubernetes and containers.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on experience on Spring Boot, Webservices, Microservices, SOAP, and REST.
• Drive analysis of business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specification documents to design and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and obtain broader buy‑in across global stakeholders.
• Pro‑actively share and report risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and forthcoming tasks with stakeholders and team.
• Expertise in leading and managing technical aspects of API framework design and development.
• Understanding of overall production incidents / RCA for any feature that is delivered.
• Working knowledge on Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS design, Kafka, Kubernetes ECS3, workflows such as Camunda BPM.
