Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Java developer to design, build and test API components. You will work in Agile teams, contribute to solution design, and ensure high-quality unit tests with JUnit and Selenium automation.

Responsibilities include setting up CI/CD, debugging, and providing insights from prior experience to improve API quality and test coverage. Strong knowledge of REST, Spring, and related technologies is required.

Qualifications

• Design, develop/build & Test application code components. Follow Agile practices & Bank’s coding/testing policies
• Participate in Solution Design
• Perform unit testing using JUnit, build functional test scripts & automate using Selenium
• Debugging/defect resolution
• Set-up CI/CD environment & implement/use DevOps tools for automated build, test & release
• Provide insights and recommendations from past experience
• Feedback incorporation as per Agile principle via Show and Tell
• Development will meet 90% JUnit test coverage at the API level
