Job summary

Dwellsmart is seeking a Java Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. You will design RESTful endpoints, optimize PostgreSQL queries, and deploy on AWS.

Experience with Docker and Postman will help you thrive in a collaborative, agile environment. The role targets early-career professionals (0–2 years) who are eager to grow in microservices, cloud, and modern software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Java (8, 8+), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in REST API design principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (queries, indexing, optimization).
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda).
• Proficiency in Docker (Kubernetes exposure is a plus).
• Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
