Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Ahmedabad is seeking an experienced Software Development Lead to drive backend systems built with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. This role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership in a cloud-native environment.

You will mentor developers, design scalable services, optimize performance, and partner with DevOps and product teams to deliver reliable deployments on Google Cloud (GKE, Spanner, BigQuery).

Qualifications

• 9+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Cloud experience with GCP preferred (AWS/Azure acceptable).
• Experience mentoring developers and leading teams.
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Redis).

Responsibilities

• Design & develop Java-based backend services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Lead a dev team and collaborate with DevOps and product teams to turn business ideas into robust solutions.
• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design efficient SQL schemas and queries.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins & Bitbucket.
• Test and debug APIs using Postman and IDEs.
• Deploy & manage services on Google Cloud (GKE, Spanner, BigQuery).
• Mentor junior developers and uphold coding best practices.
• Partner with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and system stability.
