Role Description:

We are looking for a professional Japanese Interpreter to support an upcoming international esports tournament in Mumbai. The selected candidate will provide on-site interpretation between Japanese and Hindi and/or English, helping facilitate smooth and effective communication among participants, teams, organizers, and other event stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving guests at the airport, facilitating communication and queries during hotel check-in, and supporting hotel check-out and airport send-off.
• Provide professional interpretation support to the project team, guests, staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth and effective communication throughout the assignment.
• Facilitate communication between guests, the project team, and camera crew during photo/video shoots, interviews, and other guest-related activities.
• Accompany and assist guests and staff during travel between the hotel and event venue, providing interpretation and addressing communication needs as required.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned group of approximately 4–6 guests, accompanying them during scheduled activities and supporting interactions with staff, players, and teams.
• Provide interpretation support during player/team interactions, backstage communication, meetings, stage events, and interviews, while adapting to the dynamic requirements of the event.
