Theobroma Foods Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad is seeking an experienced welder to perform precision welding on stainless steel food processing equipment, conveyors, tanks and pipes.

You will also fabricate components from drawings and ensure sanitary, clean welds compliant with 5S standards. The role requires 13 years in stainless steel fabrication or related machinery, with TIG and MIG welding expertise, blueprint reading, and strong physical stamina for long shifts.

Qualifications

• ITI Certificate in Welding (Welder/Gas Metal Arc Welder/TIG) is required.
• 13 years of experience in stainless steel fabrication or food/pharmaceutical machinery.
• Proficiency in TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding, stainless steel welding, blueprint reading, and measurement tools.

Responsabilités

• Precision Welding on SS 304/316 equipment, conveyors, tanks, and pipes.
• Fabricate and install metal components per drawings and hygiene standards.
• Sanitary Welding: ensure welds are smooth, crack-free, ground/polished.
• Maintenance & Repair of food machinery to minimize downtime.
• Material Preparation: cut, grind, polish, tack-weld before final weld.
• Quality Inspection: visually inspect welds and test for leaks/defects.
• Safety Adherence: follow industrial safety protocols and use PPE.

Role & responsibilities

• Precision Welding: Perform specialized welding (mostly TIG, some MIG/ARC) on Stainless Steel (SS 304/316) food processing equipment, conveyors, storage tanks, and pipes.
• Fabrication: Fabricate and install metal components according to technical drawings, blueprints, and hygiene standards.
• Sanitary Welding: Ensure all welds are smooth, crack-free, and ground/polished to prevent food particles from getting trapped (5S compliance).
• Maintenance & Repair: Carry out routine maintenance and emergency repairs on food machinery to minimize production downtime.
• Material Preparation: Cutting, grinding, polishing, and tack-welding parts before the final weld.
• Quality Inspection: Visually inspect welds and test for leaks or defects using methods like dye penetration.
• Safety Adherence: Follow strict industrial safety protocols and use PPE to avoid accidents. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: ITI Certificate in Welding (Welder/Gas Metal Arc Welder/TIG).
• Experience: 13 years of experience, preferably in stainless steel fabrication or food/pharmaceutical machinery.
