JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: ITI Fitter

Location: Surangi

Gender: Male

Shift: 12 hours, shift duty.

Experience: 2 to 5 years in similar role.

Qualification: ITI Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily routine checks on loaders, compressors, solar plant equipment, and overall plant machinery.
• Participate in daily routine work and handle running breakdowns.
• Perform regular plant equipment checks and time‑to‑time service tasks.
• Apply good knowledge of utilities equipment such as D.G., cooling tower, air compressor, crane, loader, forklift, conveyor belt, and general machine maintenance, cutting, welding, fabrication, fitting, and dismantling.
• Coordinate between electrical and mechanical departments; skills and participation in both areas are mandatory.
• Control running breakdowns and manage spare parts cost.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by avoiding alcohol and other inappropriate behavior on premises.
• Adhere to safety rules and act according to factory regulations.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are completed on time within a team setting.
• Understand and apply preventive, predictive, 5S, Kaizen, and system maintenance principles.
• Work with mechanical spare parts inventory: bearings, nuts & bolts, v‑belt, pulley, chain sprocket, gear, lubrication oil and grease; read drawings and perform measurements using tape, vernier calipers, file gauge, dial gauge, scale, and outer calipers.
• Execute 12‑hour shift duty as required.
