Job summary

CompCraft is seeking a passionate IT Trainer to join our Charni Road team in Mumbai. You will design and deliver hands-on training programs that transform beginners into working professionals with practical, industry-ready IT skills.

You'll conduct sessions across classroom, labs and e-learning formats, focusing on networking, software, hardware, cybersecurity, cloud computing and programming. Strong communication and LMS familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Education or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as IT Trainer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, MS Office and software tools.
• Programming or scripting experience (Python, Java) is a plus.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with LMS and e-learning tools.
• Relevant IT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

What you'll own

• Plan, develop and deliver IT training programs across classroom, hands‑on labs and e‑learning formats
• Conduct sessions on networking, software applications, hardware, cybersecurity, cloud computing and programming
• Assess learner needs and customize training content accordingly
• Create and maintain manuals, presentations, assignments and assessments
• Evaluate participant progress through quizzes, practical tests and feedback sessions
• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant content into modules
• Partner with management to identify skill gaps and recommend training solutions
• Maintain training records and report on outcomes
• Provide one‑on‑one coaching and support to learners when required

Requirements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Education or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience as an IT Trainer or in a similar role
• Strong working knowledge of networking, operating systems, MS Office Suite and software tools
• Experience with programming or scripting (Python, Java, or similar) is an advantage
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e‑learning tools
• Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS) are a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
