Job summary

Binary Web Tech Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented IT Tester to join our QA team. You will test web and mobile applications, identify bugs, and ensure the product meets quality standards, collaborating with development and project management.

The role focuses on manual testing, regression checklists, API validation with Postman, and cross-browser testing across devices, with Agile sprint involvement. Experience with STLC is valued.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in manual testing (web or mobile).
• Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with test management tools (Jira, Zoho Projects, Trello, etc.).
• Familiarity with Postman for API testing and validation.
• Good knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and sprint-based testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing of web, mobile, and software applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test plans, and regression checklists.
• Perform functional, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate, and verify bug fixes.
