Job summary

The NineHertz is seeking a QA professional to ensure zero-defect releases through comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile apps. You will participate in agile ceremonies, design test cases, and work with Postman to validate APIs, while collaborating with developers for robust test coverage.

Qualifications

• Manual testing experience across web and mobile apps.
• Ability to design test cases and ensure regression coverage.
• Experience with bug tracking using JIRA.
• Proficiency in functional and regression testing.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and ceremonies.
• Documenting tests and maintaining traceability.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end manual test cases for web and mobile apps.
• Log, track, and retest bugs with clear reproduction steps in JIRA.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Build test data, set up test environments, and validate API responses.
• Collaborate with developers to improve test coverage for user journeys.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks as needed.

About The Opportunity

Role & Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end manual test cases across web and mobile applications based on functional & regression requirements.
• Log, track, and retest bugs using JIRA or similar tools; ensure clear reproduction steps and prioritization.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to align testing with agile delivery cycles.
• Assist in building test data, setting up test environments, and validating API responses via Postman or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers to understand features and improve test coverage for critical user journeys.
• Document test results, maintain traceability matrices, and contribute to test automation frameworks as per team roadmap.
