Job summary

Elite Contractors is seeking an ERP System Administrator to optimize our construction-focused ERP platform, integrating project management, job costing, payroll, and field operations. You will configure security, manage modules, and ensure data integrity across production and test environments.

You will serve as the liaison between field project managers, back-office teams, and vendors, provide user training, handle upgrades, and troubleshoot integrations with payroll and BI dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 5 years in enterprise application administration or IT support.
• Experience with construction-focused ERP platforms (CMiC, Viewpoint/Vista, COINS, JD Edwards, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

An ERP System Administrator in a construction company manages, configures, and optimizes enterprise resource planning software tailored to project management, job costing, and field operations.

Job Summary

The ERP System Administrator maintains the health, security, and data integrity of the company's core business platform. This role bridges the gap between field project managers, back-office finance teams, and external technology vendors to ensure seamless material tracking, payroll, subcontractor management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• System Configuration & Maintenance: Manage user accounts, role-based security permissions, profiles, and workflow configurations across production and test environments.
• Construction Module Oversight: Support modules specific to construction such as job cost accounting, equipment tracking, subcontract management, procurement, and inventory control. Integration & Troubleshooting: Resolve system errors and manage data exchanges between the ERP and external tools, including payroll systems, document control software, and Power BI dashboards.
• User Training & Adoption: Provide first-line support, develop procedure documentation, and train field and office staff on daily ERP navigation and data entry best practices.
• Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary technical point of contact for external ERP software vendors and managed service providers during system upgrades or complex troubleshooting.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in enterprise application administration or IT support, ideally within the construction, engineering, ERP support or construction sector.
• Software Familiarity: Proven experience supporting construction-focused ERP platforms (e.g., CMiC, Viewpoint/Vista, COINS, JD Edwards, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of database structures, basic scripting or query writing (SQL/Python), and cloud or on-premise server environments.
