Job summary

Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited in Pune seeks an IT Solution Professional focused on SAP MM and procurement SaaS solutions. You will drive end-to-endProcure-to-Receipt transformations, integrate SAP S/4HANA MM with SaaS platforms, and lead global rollout efforts across multi-ERP landscapes.

The role requires 5+ years of SAP functional consulting with MM specialization, strong stakeholder leadership, and hands-on experience with SAP BTP, Integration Suite, and Ariba integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive SAP functional consulting with focus on MM procurement.
• Experience leading Greenfield/Brownfield S/4HANA implementations and global rollouts.
• Deep understanding of Procure to Pay/Procure to Receipt processes.
• Experience in global, multi-ERP SAP landscapes with stakeholders.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Acting as a technical and functional solution professional within a global IT organization of a large enterprise and actively supporting the transformation of our procurement processes and system landscape towards a global, SaaS‑based Procure‑to‑Receipt solution
• Taking an end-to-end view of the solution consisting of a SaaS procurement solution, SAP S/4HANA (MM), and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Performing the analysis and translation of business requirements (FIT/GAP) in indirect procurement (e.g. purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, release strategies, output management), translating them into robust configurations and customizations within a SaaS‑based, multi‑ERP environment built on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
• Driving and aligning technical decisions with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams throughout all program/project phases, including design, configuration, system integration, provisioning, customization, implementation, SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare.
• Designing, configuring, and testing interfaces using SAP Integration Suite, IDocs, and APIs to ensure seamless connectivity between SAP S/4HANA and other critical systems, including SaaS procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba), non‑SAP products, and external portals.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive, high‑quality documentation and knowledge articles, encompassing system configurations, process descriptions, service procedures, and knowledge base articles, adhering to defined business and IT standards.
• Utilizing SAP BTP services to enhance and automate procurement workflows and processes.
• Ensuring a smooth handover of deployed solution increments into service operations, including coordination with external service providers and training of end users and business stakeholders.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including process descriptions, system configurations, service procedures, and knowledge base articles / wiki pages.
• Keeping informed about relevant SAP and procurement related SaaS developments and supporting the team in adopting new features and improvements.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in SAP functional consulting, with a deep and specialized focus on procurement processes and technology stacks built upon SAP S/4HANA (MM).
• Demonstrative success in leading full lifecycle management for Greenfield and/or Brownfield S/4HANA implementations and global rollouts, with a significant emphasis on MM customization and complex system integration.
• Deep understanding of Procure to Pay / Procure to Receipt processes.
• Experience in working in global, complex and multi‑ERP SAP based landscapes with global Business Stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA ERP architecture, data models, interfaces, system settings, and configuration principles.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP BTP, particularly in the areas of process automation, workflow management, API management, and the integration of SaaS products is an advantage.
• Superb written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and partner leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Analytical, critical thinking, proactive and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, take ownership, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
