Job summary

Polyplex is seeking a hands-on Cyber Security and IT Infrastructure leader to serve as a focal point across locations, coordinating with local IT teams, business users, application teams, and external partners.

You will manage security controls across network, endpoint, email, identity, remote access, servers, cloud, and data protection, monitor alerts, lead incident response, and drive governance, risk, and audit readiness. This role requires expertise in enterprise security operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/EC or related discipline.
• 8 to 12 years in Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure or Info Security.
• Strong experience in security operations, SIEM/SOC monitoring, incident response, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead SIEM/MDR/SOC operations and incident response processes.
• Plan vulnerability assessments, VAPT, security audits, and remediation activities.
• Support governance, risk assessments, policy compliance, and audit readiness.
• Administer IAM controls including Active Directory, MFA, privileged access, and access reviews.
• Maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, virtualization, storage, backups, and DR readiness.
• Document security inventories, architecture records, SOPs, incident reports, and dashboards.

Role & Responsibilities

• Act as the hands-on focal point for Cyber Security and IT Infrastructure across Polyplex Group locations and coordinate with local IT teams, business users, application teams, and external partners.
• Manage and continuously improve security controls covering network security, endpoint security, email security, identity management, remote access, servers, cloud services, and data protection.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, perform investigation and analysis, coordinate containment and recovery activities, and implement preventive measures.
• Manage SIEM/MDR/SOC operations, review security events, track escalations, and ensure effective incident response processes.
• Plan and coordinate vulnerability assessments, VAPT exercises, security audits, and remediation activities.
• Support security governance initiatives including risk assessments, policy compliance, audit readiness, and cybersecurity awareness programs.
• Administer identity and access management controls, including Active Directory, MFA, privileged access management, and periodic access reviews.
• Provide support for IT infrastructure including servers, networks, firewalls, virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, and security posture while coordinating with vendors and service providers for issue resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation, security inventories, architecture records, SOPs, incident reports, and management dashboards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, MCA, or a related discipline.
• 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure, Network Security, or Information Security roles.
• Strong experience in security operations, SIEM/SOC monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and security governance.
• Hands-on expertise in firewalls, VPNs, EDR/XDR solutions, Microsoft 365 Security, Active Directory, IAM, and endpoint protection technologies.
• Good understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, risk management, audit compliance, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure including servers, networks, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and cloud-related security controls.
• Exposure to manufacturing or multi-location enterprise environments will be preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.
• Candidates seeking a hands-on technical role with growth potential towards Cyber Security & IT Infrastructure Manager will be preferred.
