Job summary

10XTD is seeking a Manager – IT (Cyber Security) to lead security strategy, governance, and operations for a consumer goods major. You will align security with business goals, oversee risk assessments, and drive compliance across ISO 27001 and DPDP.

The role requires 10+ years in IT security with at least 3 years in management, hands-on experience with EDR/MDR and VAPT, and strong stakeholder management. Travel to plant locations will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer preferred.
• 10+ years of IT security experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Align security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure secure configuration of servers, networks, and cloud environments.
• Monitor security alerts and logs; lead mitigation activities for cyber alerts.
• Lead investigations and remediation of security incidents; conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Oversee log reviews for firewall, EDR, and other appliances; maintain CIS benchmarking posture.
• Coordinate internal and external security audits; ensure ISO 27001/DPDP compliance.
• Mentor IT Infrastructure Team on cybersecurity topics; conduct security awareness programs.
• Experience with VAPT / Cyber Audit engagements and incident response.

Security Strategy & Governance:

• Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Align security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Infrastructure Security:

• Ensure secure configuration of Servers, Networks, and Cloud environments.
