Job summary

LPL Financial Global Capability Center in Hyderabad seeks an experienced IT Senior Release Coordinator to own end-to-end release management for critical IT systems and applications.

You will collaborate with development, QA, operations and business teams to ensure readiness, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement through metrics and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT Release Management, Project Management, or a similar role within a large enterprise, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Proven experience with release management tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, ITIL).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple releases concurrently.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• ITIL Foundation certification is required; ITIL Intermediate or Expert certification preferred.

• Drive the automation of release processes where feasible to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
