Job summary

EPAM Systems in India seeks an IT Project Manager with 10-14 years of experience to lead the delivery of enterprise-grade software. You will guide cross-functional teams building on Java/Spring and .NET stacks, and manage end-to-end Agile SDLC across cloud-native microservices, legacy modernization, and API integrations.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of IT project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise Java/.NET apps using Agile (Scrum or Kanban).
• Adapt Agile metrics to measure GenAI productivity gains.
• Coordinate sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Manage project scopes, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Act as technical liaison between developers, architects, PMs, and stakeholders.
• Lead Java/Spring Boot and/or .NET Core ecosystems, microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Discuss technical debt, code quality, testing, and CI/CD bottlenecks.
• Oversee dependencies and risks in hybrid architectures.
• Report project health, roadmap progress, and risks to leadership.
• Identify blockers and mitigate risks; align tech roadmap with business priorities.

We are looking for a highly accomplished, technically astute IT Project Manager with 10-14 years of professional experience to spearhead the delivery of our enterprise-grade software applications.

In this position, you will guide cross-functional software development teams delivering complex projects built on modern Java/Spring and/or .NET/C# stacks. Your responsibility will be to lead the end-to-end Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC), spanning cloud-native microservices development, legacy application modernization, and API integrations.

You will oversee projects where ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Copilot, or other AI tools are utilized. APIs are being embedded into our Java or .NET backends to create intelligent user experiences (such as chat assistants, intelligent document analysis, or automated workflows).

You will apply the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to boost sprint velocity and code quality, while simultaneously overseeing the delivery of applications that embed these models directly into our enterprise products.

The perfect candidate has a solid technical foundation (preferably a background in software engineering or systems architecture) and holds the strategic mindset needed to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, oversee multi-million dollar budgets, and advocate for modern Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate end-to-end software delivery for complex, enterprise-level Java/.NET applications using Agile (Scrum or Kanban) methodologies
• Adapt traditional Agile metrics (team velocity, sprint burn-down, cycle time) to analyze and optimize productivity gains achieved through GenAI tools
• Coordinate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring development workflows seamlessly integrate AI code generation, automated unit testing, and code review
• Manage project scopes, timelines, resource allocation, and multi-million dollar budgets
• Act as a highly technical liaison between developers, architects, product owners, and business leaders
• Guide the team through complex project milestones involving Java/Spring Boot and/or .NET Core/C# ecosystems, microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Facilitate discussions around technical debt, code quality, automated testing (unit/integration/E2E), and CI/CD pipeline bottlenecks
• Oversee dependencies and risks associated with hybrid architectures (e.g., migrating legacy .NET Framework or Java EE monolithic systems to modern, containerized cloud environments)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and business stakeholders, providing transparent reporting on project health, roadmap progress, and technical risks
• Identify, track, and proactively mitigate risks, technical dependencies, and blockers before they impact delivery timelines
• Collaborate with Product Management to align the technical roadmap with business priorities and product backlogs

Requirements

• 10-14 years of professional experience in IT project management
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and scaled agile frameworks (SAFe)
• Advanced proficiency in project management and collaboration tools, specifically Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Capability to perform capacity planning, estimating, and resource allocation in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of Java/Spring Boot and/or .NET Core/C# ecosystems, microservices architectures, and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
• Background in integrating AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Co-Pilot) into enterprise applications
• Showcase of outstanding communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
