The role requires strategic leadership to oversee end-to-end execution, manage multiple stakeholders and provide clear updates with risk assessments and insights. Collaboration with government agencies and external partners is essential to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of IT project management experience.
• MBA with focus on IT strategy and business alignment.
• Proven experience managing public sector IT projects or taxation systems.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMP, PRINCE2).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full project lifecycles from planning and execution to monitoring and delivery.
• Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Implement best practices in project management (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies) to ensure efficiency.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, ensuring proactive resolution.
• Stakeholder & Communication Management: liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and updates with risk assessments and technical insights.
• Work with government agencies, taxation authorities, and external partners to drive project success.
• Governance & Compliance: adherence to public sector regulations and taxation frameworks.
• Manage government tendering processes, contract negotiations, and regulatory documentation.
• Budget & Resource Optimization: oversee budgets, cost control and resource planning.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimizations.
• Team Leadership: lead cross-functional teams, mentor performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 8 to 10 years of experience in IT project management.
• MBA with a strong understanding of IT strategy and business alignment.
• Proven experience managing public sector IT projects or taxation-related systems.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, or similar).
• Experience in government IT consulting or taxation technology solutions.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification is a plus.
