Job summary

Dürr IT Services in India, represented by Schenck RoTec, seeks an experienced Project Manager for IT Operations. You will drive requirements forward, plan holistically, and coordinate across IT and SAP services with stakeholders from our global locations.

You will lead the interface between operational IT, SAP services and departments, manage approvals, embed changes in IT systems, and prepare handover documents for seamless project transitions across international teams.

Qualifications

• A degree or recognised certification in Project Management.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT and project management.
• Experience in IT implementations and international projects an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead holistic project planning including scheduling and capacity management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders beyond IT and act as a central interface between IT, SAP services and departments.
• Oversee internal coordination with approval boards and committees.
• Communicate and embed changes within existing IT systems and platforms.
• Develop handover documents for smooth implementation of changes.
• Prepare project updates for IT portfolio management and project participants to ensure transparency.

Job description

Your Tasks

As a project manager for IT projects, you will play a key role in driving requirements forward with colleagues from our 140 locations worldwide.

• You will be responsible for the holistic planning of the projects, including scheduling and capacities (including prioritization), coordination with stakeholders (also beyond IT) and their implementation.
• You will take on the central interface function between operational IT, SAP services and the IT teams / stakeholders from the departments and accompany the necessary changes.
• You will control the internal coordination with approval boards and other committees.
• You will be responsible for communication and embedding in existing internal IT systems / communication platforms.
• In addition, you will develop any necessary handover/documents that are necessary for the smooth introduction of changed processes in larger change projects.
• You will prepare the project updates for the IT portfolio management and for the project participants and ensure transparency in the entire project team on the ongoing projects.

Your Profile:

• You will become a project manager for projects related to IT Operations with us with a degree or recognised certification in Project Management.
• You have a high affinity for IT topics or have the ability and interest to familiarize yourself with new tools and have a high level of service orientation.
• You have experience in stakeholder management and know the business processes of a large IT department.
• Relevant degree/ diploma/ certification:
  • a degree or recognised certification in Project Management.
• Minimum Years of relevant work experience:
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in IT and project management.
  • You already have experience in the support/management of IT implementations and have a great interest in projects in an international context.
• IT Systems Familiarity:
  • Familiarity of SAP systems, Jira, Service Now
  • Experience in managing SAP projects is an advantage.
• Language Skills:
  • You have a very good knowledge of English (Business Proficiency in German language is a considerable advantage)
