Job summary

Fluiconnecto India seeks an IT Project Manager to lead SAP S/4HANA transformation for the India rollout, aligning with the global ERP roadmap and targeting go-live in 2028. This role reports to the Enterprise Applications Manager Asia and requires strong manufacturing IT knowledge and proven SAP delivery experience.

You will own schedule, budget, scope and quality across programs, coordinate cross-functional teams across India and other regions, manage data migration, training, change management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• SAP certification (e.g., SAP Activate Project Manager, S/4HANA functional modules) — highly desirable.
• ITIL v4 Foundation — an advantage.
• Minimum 8–10 years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years leading SAP implementations (ECC or S/4HANA) in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing MES deployments or other shopfloor/OT system implementations — preferably in discrete or process manufacturing.
• Experience working in global, multi-region program structures reporting to a central IT function.
• Proven track record managing project budgets in excess of USD 1M and teams of 10+ across internal and vendor resources.
• Strong familiarity with manufacturing industry hardware like hose/connectors, hydraulics is a plus.

POSITION : IT PROJECT MANAGER

LOCATION : Bangalore

This position reports to the Enterprise Applications Manager Asia, within the corporate IT organization.

The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering high-priority IT transformation programs

SAP S/4HANA Implementation end-to-end project leadership for the India rollout of the S/4HANA platform, aligned to the global ERP transformation roadmap, targeting go-live in 2028.

The ideal candidate brings a strong command of the manufacturing IT landscape, proven SAP project delivery experience, and the ability to coordinate across cross-functional, multi-region stakeholder groups.

They will be the primary accountability point for schedule, budget, scope, and quality across both programs.

1. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES (ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

SAP S/4HANA Transformation

• Lead the India S/4HANA implementation in alignment with the global rollout blueprint
• Define India-specific project scope, phasing, and deliverables in collaboration with the Enterprise Applications Manager — Asia, EMEA Business Applications Manager, and CIO.
• Drive fit-gap analysis, design workshops, and sign-off processes with local business stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Sales.
• Coordinate with the SAP implementation partner on system build, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and hyper care support.
• Manage data migration activities including data cleansing, mapping, mock loads, and production cutover validation.
• Ensure change management, user training, and adoption plans are executed effectively for the India user base.

IT Projects

• Lead or support additional IT project initiatives as assigned, including HRMS implementations, MES system deployments, infrastructure modernization, and other enterprise application projects ensuring consistent application of project management disciplines, governance standards, and delivery frameworks across all engagements.
• Maintain flexibility to take on concurrent or emerging IT project responsibilities aligned to the India IT roadmap, contributing to a culture of structured, accountable, and business-aligned project delivery across the Fluiconnecto India IT function.

Program & Stakeholder Management

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestone schedules, RAID logs, and resource allocation matrices
• Provide regular project status updates to executive leadership.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditure against approved baselines, and flag variances proactively.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and escalation paths across India, EMEA, and global IT stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT governance standards, change management policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Conduct structured lessons‑learned reviews at key project milestones and post-go-live, feeding outcomes into future program cycles.

2. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

Technical Knowledge

• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA — including modules relevant to manufacturing: MM, PP, SD, FI/CO, QM, and WM/EWM.
• Working knowledge of MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Tulip, or comparable) and integration patterns with ERP.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks, and hybrid project management approaches.
• Proficiency in project management tools: Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure requirements in manufacturing settings: OT/IT

convergence, shopfloor networking, and device management.

3. TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

• Strong stakeholder management capability able to engage, influence, and align senior business leaders, plant operations teams, and global IT stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to translate technical content for non-technical audiences.
• Structured approach to risk identification, issue resolution, and escalation management.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and priorities without loss of delivery quality.
• Detail-oriented with respect to project documentation, change control, and governance artefacts.
• Comfortable operating in a cross-cultural, multi-time zone environment spanning India, Italy, and other Group locations.
