Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific India Pvt Ltd is seeking an IT Project Manager II to lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex IT initiatives. You will oversee projects from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs, within an agile framework.

You will coordinate with diverse teams across the organization, drive continuous improvement, and manage on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree; or bachelor’s degree with 5 years IT PM experience.
• Preferred PMP, CSM, SAFe certifications.
• Strong expertise in agile (Scrum, SAFe) and traditional PM practices.
• Experience delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency with PM tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Planview.
• Experience with enterprise software implementation and system integration.
• Fluent business English; other languages a plus.
• Experience in matrix organizations and distributed teams.

REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced Degree, no prior experience required, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in IT project management or similar role
• Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe preferred
• Additional relevant certifications in agile methodologies or project management a plus
• Strong expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and traditional project management practices
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget
• Advanced proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Planview)
• Experience with enterprise software implementation and system integration projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience working in matrix organizations and managing distributed teams
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills
• Strong understanding of IT service management and operations
• Participation in on-call rotations as needed
• Business-level English proficiency required; additional language skills a plus
