Job summary

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of progressive experience in IT operations, managed services, or IT outsourcing.
• At least 5 years in presales, solution architect, or business development in ITMSP/BPO/outsourcing.
• Hands-on in at least two core areas: ITO practice building, presales/solution design, or transition management for large ITO engagements.
• Proven track record of closing ITO deals with ACV USD 500K+ or TCV > USD 2M.
• International work experience with Europe, Australia, the Middle East, or North America.

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead our operational excellence initiatives in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of IT operations, infrastructure management, and service delivery, ensuring seamless integration and performance across our systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure domains: servers, storage, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), networking (LAN/WAN/SD‑WAN), end‑user computing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong ITSM knowledge – ITIL process design, incident/problem/change management, service catalogue management, and CMDB governance.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling (Dynatrace, Datadog, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix) and their role in managed services delivery.
• Understanding of cybersecurity operations within an ITMSP context – patch management, vulnerability management, SOC‑as‑a‑Service, and endpoint protection.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in IT operations, managed services, or IT outsourcing – with a demonstrated career arc from technical delivery into presales/sales and practice development.
• At least 5 years in a dedicated presales, solution architect, or business development role within an ITMSP, BPO, or IT outsourcing organization.
• Hands‑on experience in at least two of the three core areas: (a) ITO practice building, (b) presales/solution design for managed services, and (c) transition management for large ITO engagements.
• Proven track record of successfully closing ITO deals with an average contract value (ACV) of USD 500K+ or total contract value (TCV) exceeding USD 2M+.
• International work experience is strongly preferred – candidates who have managed or sold to clients in Europe, Australia, the Middle East, or North America will be prioritized.
• Experience working at or with global ITMSPs, Global Delivery Centers (GDCs), nearshore/offshore delivery organizations, or multinational IT services firms (e.g., Unisys, Fujitsu, DXC Technology, HCL, Infosys BPM, Wipro, TCS, Atos, NTT, Dimension Data, or equivalent).
