Job Description

Assist the DevOps team to remediate network and application non‑compliance, conduct AWS SG and Azure NSG analysis, manage tickets in Jira, create documentation in Confluence, and work with Terraform, Ansible, and Python. Provide cloud networking and security services, routing protocols, connectivity, load balancing, VPNs, DNS, micro‑segmentation, and Cisco SDWAN solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist DevOps team to remediate network non‑compliance and application non‑compliance.
• AWS SG and Azure NSG analysis and narrow down to stricter rules.
• Familiarity with ticket and task handling in Jira and creating documentation in Confluence.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, and Python will be an added advantage.
• Cloud networking including Cloud Connectivity (Azure, AWS, SoftLayer).
• Cloud Based Security Services – AWS WAF and Azure Guard Duty, Internet Connectivity.
• Routing Protocols – BGP and route propagation among CSPs.
• Cloud Connectivity – AWS Cloud WAN, Azure vWAN, Hub and Spoke Peering, Transit Gateway.
• Network Security, IP Addressing (Schemas, VLANs), Firewalls.
• AWS and Azure Load Balancers offerings, Site to Site VPN’s, Domain Name Services, Micro segmentation, all other IP Network based or reliant technologies, Cisco SDWAN.
• Domain knowledge expert (Network), strategic planning, upgrade plans.
• Define and track CSP standards, evolve technical solutions, strategic planning, emerging technologies, innovation.
• Design diagram – Visio and Lucidchart.
• Publish articles in the Network Domain (internal and external).
• Present on technical symposiums (internal and external).
• Manage day to day support of network services, equipment, and tools.
• Manage all request, issue and incident escalations.
• Manage network technical services strategy and drive annual planning process for network related teams.
• Point person on all SEV 1 / SEV 2 incident management, responsible for ongoing quality improvement through an established Problem Management process.
• Develop and approve Root Cause Analysis (RCA’s) and drive proactive / preventive process improvement.
• Develop and evolve network Methods & Procedures (M&P’S) on an ongoing basis.
• Develop and manage projects and technical implementations related to networks, with minimal disruption to clients.
• Assist staff with troubleshooting, managing, and resolving technical issues with network infrastructure and services.
• Develop and manage projects and technical implementations to support our global network transition and transformation program.
• Develop and manage comprehensive cloud connectivity and exchange.
