Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences invites energetic IT students to join our IT Hub in Pune, India for a January 2027 to June 2027 internship cycle. Selected interns will be matched to projects across Software Engineering, AI, Automation, Data & Analytics, and Enterprise Technology teams.

As an IT Intern, you will contribute to AI-enabled applications, automation efforts, data workflows, and cloud-based initiatives while gaining exposure to modern AI technologies and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Available to participate in a full-time internship from January 2027 through June 2027.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Demonstrated interest in technology, software development, data analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, cloud technologies, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong learning agility, initiative, and desire to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, testing, support, and implementation of technology solutions.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to solve real-world challenges and improve business processes.
• Assist with data analysis, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled initiatives.
• Support software development, application enhancement, and cloud-based technology projects.
• Document requirements, workflows, technical designs, and project outcomes.

Potential Project Areas

As an IT Intern, you will be matched to projects based on business needs, your educational background, technical skills, and career interests.

• AI Engineering Work alongside experienced engineers to help build and support AI-enabled applications and platforms. Interns may contribute to AI and machine learning solutions, cloud-based platforms, data workflows, software development initiatives, and automation efforts while gaining exposure to modern AI technologies and engineering best practices.
• Automation & Agentic AI Partner with business and technology teams to help improve workflows through automation and emerging AI technologies. Interns may assist with business systems analysis, requirements gathering, solution testing, process documentation, system support, and implementation of AI-driven solutions that enhance productivity and user experience.
• Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI Integration (EDAIx) Support enterprise data and analytics initiatives that enable data-driven decision making and responsible AI adoption. Interns may contribute to data platform modernization, analytics solutions, reporting, data quality initiatives, governance activities, process automation, and the development of scalable data and AI capabilities across the organization.
